WA Studio KIWA
WA Studio KIWA is a kimono upcycling designer who will present a unique stage performance of their one-of-a-kind art dress woven from 1000 wishes.
Since 2003, Kiwa Anraku has been fascinated by the charm and possibilities of kimono, and has been creating upcycled clothing. Her unique approach was praised, and she became a clothing designer who created stage costumes for actresses, singers, flare bartending, flamenco artists, and other artists. In 2013, she launched the “Momohanabushi Project,” an activity to disseminate kimono culture, and became its representative, and has currently completed 10 performances.
