Get Involved at Nikkei Matsuri ~ Sept. 3 & 4
The Nikkei Matsuri Committee has been working hard to plan one of the largest festivals for Japanese arts and culture in Canada. Festival goers and volunteers alike come to enjoy Japanese food, performances, artisans and more over the 2-day period.
After two years of scaling down the event, Nikkei Matsuri returns for its 10th year with an expanded site with more food, a Food Truck Plaza, new offerings and the return of festival favourites! Volunteering at Nikkei Matsuri is a great opportunity to enjoy the festivities, while also gaining experience, helping out your community, and making new friends.
Nikkei Matsuri is a core fundraising event for Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre, helping to fund its cultural programs and museum initiatives. It takes as many as 300 day-of volunteers to pull off a successful event, and we hope you will be part of our success!
