Your last chance to experience Summer at Nikkei Garden, a Japanese Cultural Marketplace, is this week!
We are bringing the spirit of Nikkei Matsuri to you one last time this summer on Friday, Sept 4 and Saturday, Sept 5 with food, local artisans and craft vendors!
On Friday, attendees will get to hear the musical stylings of Pico Misaki, performing a fusion of traditional and contemporary songs on the koto. On Saturday, kids will get the chance to visit a mini game zone with ring toss, cotton candy, and cute yoyos. Attendees on Saturday will also get the chance to hear Chibi Taiko perform the rhythmic beating of Japanese drums!
Summer at Nikkei Garden, a Japanese cultural marketplace, is a community market of Japanese arts and culture. All proceeds support Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre (find out more about our Resilience Fundraiser).
Tickets
We are dedicated to bringing you a safe in-person experience. Advanced tickets are sold out, however walk-ins are welcome and based on day of capacity. Come 45-60mins after a round starts to increase your odds of quick entry! Full ticket details are available on our EventBrite page.

Nikkei Place Campus Food Options
Hi Genki Restaurant and Suzuya Japanese Market are both located on-site at the Nikkei Place campus, and offer a variety of food options for Summer at Nikkei Garden attendees. From full take out lunch or dinner meals from Hi Genki Restaurant, to your favourite festival bentos and snacks from Suzuya.
