Our first round of Summer at Nikkei Garden, a Japanese cultural marketplace, was on Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8!
Attendees delighted in food and merchandise from local vendors — thank you to Pac West, Picchie Zakka, Sasaki Art, Windigo Wraps, Beauty Secrets of Japan, Oil, herb, and me, Tea Lani, Coconama Chocolate and Kitchen Kodama for helping make this first round a success! On Friday, attendees got to hear the musical stylings of Pico Misaki, playing contemporary music on the traditional koto instrument. On Saturday, kids got the chance to play games and win prizes in the mini game zone.
