Join the Vibrant Celebration of Japanese Culture at Nikkei Matsuri!
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to be a part of the upcoming Nikkei Matsuri, a festival that celebrates the richness of Japanese culture. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a lively community event while immersing yourself in a cultural experience.
Volunteering at Nikkei Matsuri provides a chance to engage with a diverse community, gain valuable skills, and create lasting memories. We are looking for volunteers to assist in various positions, including:
- Games: Help coordinate and manage interactive games and activities for attendees of all ages.
- Performances: Support the smooth execution of live performances, including stage management, artist assistance, and crowd control.
- Beer Garden: Assist in the operations of the beer garden, ensuring a pleasant experience for visitors, checking IDs, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Admissions: Greet and guide festival-goers, scan tickets, distribute wristbands, and provide general event information.
- Set Up: Assist in setting up and organizing the festival site, including booths, signage, and decorations.
- And More: There are numerous other opportunities available, such as parking, information booth support, vendor assistance, and supporting fellow volunteers.
No prior experience is required for most positions, and training will be provided to all volunteers. We welcome individuals of all backgrounds, ages (16 and older), and abilities to join our team. Nikkei Matsuri is a community-driven event, and we value the enthusiasm and dedication of our volunteers.
