*Existing NNMCC members who present a valid membership card and any NEW members will gain complimentary access ($4 fee waived)! Visit the NIKKEI CENTRE TENT to become a member and/or get an entrance stamp!

Matsuri Money

Matsuri Money must be used in the GAME ZONE. Matsuri Money will be available in $1 denominations from the Matsuri Money Station inside the Game Zone (Ellipse Lobby). This money can be used to play all the games as well as purchase game-zone food such as cotton candy, hot dogs and shaved ice. All other vendors, workshops and food will accept payment directly in Canadian Dollars.

*Note: Matsuri Money cannot be converted back into Canadian Dollars and is only accepted in the GAME ZONE.

Covered Stroller Parking

Strollers are not allowed in the building, as it becomes crowded indoors. To ensure safety, covered stroller parking is available by a cash donation of $2 at the west pathway adjacent to Suzuya Market.

Recycling Information

Nikkei Matsuri is green! All food will be served in compostable containers with compostable cutlery. There will be six waste stations located around the Centre to dispose of waste, with volunteers at each station for assistance.

Please be advised that in the case of an emergency, health-related incident, or lost child, look for one of our volunteers or security/first aid professionals who will be on patrol throughout the event. In the case of a major emergency, listen for a public address announcement and follow the indicated instructions. Thank you and have a safe and fun matsuri.
